Job Description: An LVPG Medical Assistant will perform functions as a member of the practice clinical care delivery team and will provide selected clinical care to patients under the direction of an LPN, RN or medical provider. An MA performs clerical/administrative duties associated with the medical practice front desk operations under the direction of the Practice Manager/Director and/or Site Manager or Office Coordinator.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education required. Graduate of a program for Medical Assistant/Administrative Medical Assistant.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree in Medical Assisting preferred. Three (3) or more years of recent experience in a physician office practice setting. Current AAMA certification.

Licensure and Certifications: Current BLS
