At Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), we strive to provide colleagues with an exceptional work experience from hire to retire. Here are examples of things that make LVHN a great place to work.
Tuition Reimbursement Program
- The program is available to full- and part-time colleagues working .4 FTE or higher.
- Colleagues are reimbursed 85 percent of the tuition cost for any degree-level course at an accredited institution that leads to a degree that is job-related.
- Full-time colleagues can earn up to $4,000 per calendar year.
- Part-time colleagues can earn up to $2,000 per calendar year.
Culture of Wellness
- Colleagues and their dependents on the LVHN Health Plan have $700 to spend on approved wellness classes each year. There’s a Culture of Wellness program for every health plan member to enjoy.
- One-on-one telephonic coaching with a certified health and wellness coach is available to all colleagues (whether enrolled in the LVHN Health Plan or not) and all LVHN Health Plan-enrolled dependents age 18 and older. Coaching is free and confidential.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- If you need help with a personal problem such as stress or depression, or if you’re an executive, manager or supervisor wishing to help a valued colleague, Preferred EAP is available.
- Preferred EAP counselors listen closely, identify the source of the problem and work with each person to find practical solutions as quickly as possible.
- Full- and part-time colleagues receive five free counseling sessions per year.
Recreation Committee
- The LVHN Recreation Committee runs trips and offers tickets to sporting events, concerts and other events.
- The committee also provides discounts for automotive care, hotels and resorts, restaurants, retail, wireless phone service and more.
