Summary
Administers the department's residency and fellowship programs, with direct responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the training programs as determined by the Residency Program Director and program management team.
Job Duties
- Develops and implements annual recruitment plans with program administration.
- Develops and implements program orientation activities in conjunction with LVHN departments and program administration.
- Monitors compliance requirements and maintaining a residency management system.
- Manages Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) as part of the selection process for program applicants.
- Monitors resident/fellowship morale and respond to concerns. Communicates with program administration.
- Prepares reports, statistics, and documents to meet the requirements of the program.
- Provides interpretation and updates regarding changes in accreditation and certifying board requirements.
- Plans and implements key program activities including, but not limited to, educational programming, team building, and graduation.
- Reviews and updates annual program materials for recruitment, onboarding, and general operations.
- Tracks and monitors program expenditures relative to program budgets.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years experience in Healthcare education / Residency/Fellow Coordination at an academic health care site or
- 1 year experience in residency program administration or healthcare education..
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- C-TAGME - Certified Training Administrators for Graduate Medical Education - State of Pennsylvania within 3 Years
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a management, healthcare, social science, or a related field.
- C-TAGME - Certified Training Administrators for Graduate Medical Education - State of Pennsylvania
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
