SummarySupervises the treatment team. Assists in the management and development of clinical services in the department. Conducts and facilitates clinical staff supervision meetings in a group and individual setting. Reviews and approves clinical documents including treatment plans. treatment plan updates, Biopsychosocial evaluations, clinical documentation, progress notes and recovery support documentation. Assesses competency of clinical team and recommends training and resources to develop and enhance clinical skills. Assists in personal actions including interviewing, discipline, and termination. Monitors clinical caseloads and assigns new patients to counselors. Assists in developing of new programs. Ensures clinical processes are within regulatory compliance.
Job Duties
- Provides clinical supervision to members of the clinical team.
- Evaluates clinical caseloads reviews and approves clinical documentation within the Electronic Medical Record System.
- Assists in the personnel selection, discipline, and separation; assists in completing performance evaluations of the department staff.
- Trains, monitors, and develops professional staff to enable the treatment of patients.
- Assists in the planning, developing, and implementation of new programs, policies, and procedures.
- Assumes responsibility for the day-to-day departmental functions in the absence of the director.
- Reviews and updates clinical manuals and forms utilized in the program.
- Reviews and updates Training Plans with clinical team.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
- 3 years of clinical experience in health or human services
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner.
- Good supervisory and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
- CCS - Certified Clinical Supervisor - Pennsylvania Certification Board within 3 Years or
- LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker - State of Pennsylvania within 1 Year or
- LSW - Licensed Social Worker - State of Pennsylvania within 1 Year or
- LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor - State of Pennsylvania within 1 Year
