Mobile Health Care
LVHN is committed to expanding access to health care through a variety of avenues, from virtual visits to 365-day-a-year JeffExpress Urgent Care locations. Another way we are expanding access is through mobile health coaches. Our newest one is ready to offer care for you and your family in Northampton County.
Services available in the mobile health coach
Inside the coach you’ll find two exam rooms that can serve a variety of patients and their clinical needs. The unit is equipped with virtual care technology so you can connect remotely with members of your health care team. Examples of services include:
- Giving vaccines
- Drawing blood for health checks
- Testing for flu, COVID-19 and strep infections
More access for students and employees
The motor coach can partner with schools at health events and with businesses to launch employer-empowered wellness initiatives. It can bridge the gap to long-term primary care services or allow urgent care services to be delivered where access to health care is either geographically challenging or economically disproportionate. It can also provide care at specialty or community events.
