What is MyChart Central?

MyChart Central is a hub from which you can access your MyLVHN and other MyChart accounts you might have with other hospital networks. MyLVHN is Lehigh Valley Health Network’s customized patient portal. MyLVHN is powered by Epic’s MyChart.

MyChart Central allows you to access any of your MyChart accounts, such as MyJeffersonHealth, from one central location found on MyLVHN.

When you sign up for MyChart Central you will be assigned an Epic ID and password. This can be used as one secure login for all your linked MyChart accounts. (Please note, you can still log in to individual MyChart accounts, including MyLVHN and MyJeffersonHealth, using your original login credentials. These logins will not change or go away.)

 

No, you will have a new login name for your Epic ID and a different password. You can set up a passkey or other secure password saver for an easy login experience.

 

To confirm your identity and that you’re a patient of an organization that uses Epic MyChart, you need at least one MyChart account to sign up for MyChart Central. After creating a MyChart Central account, you can easily sign up for MyChart at other organizations using your Epic ID, without having to create new, individual login credentials.

 

You can sign up directly through MyChart Central. Or, log in to your MyLVHN account and go to the Menu icon. Type “Link” in the menu search bar and then choose “Link My Accounts.” Press “Get Started” and follow the instructions to sign up for MyChart Central and establish your Epic ID.
