On Saturday, Oct. 18, Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), part of Jefferson Health, held its annual Nite Lites event to support LVHN’s greatest needs and highest priorities. The event gathered 700 guests for a captivating evening of dinner, dancing and performances by electric violinist Sarah Charness, accompanied by Prima Dancesport ballroom dancers at Wind Creek Hotel Foundry Ballroom in Bethlehem. The night was made complete with a hypnotizing theme, “Hallows Eve: Dancing in the Shadows.”
Bob Begliomini, PharmD, President, Jefferson Health–Lehigh Valley Region, acknowledged more than 80 sponsors, giving special recognition to title sponsor Norris McLaughlin. “Thanks to the partnership and support of our donors, we are able to introduce new programs, services and facilities that make our community healthier,” he said. He also noted several projects currently underway in the Lehigh Valley region from new neighborhood hospitals to an expanded emergency department at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg and new state-of-the-art clinical equipment.
This year’s event raised over $800,000, which will strengthen efforts to make our communities a healthier – and better – place to live.
