For Black History Month, Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) will honor the theme "African Americans and Labor," recognizing the remarkable contributions African Americans have made across various sectors, including industry, health care and social justice. This year also commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters and Maids, led by A. Philip Randolph, a pivotal moment in labor history that highlights the resilience and advocacy of African American workers in their fight for equality and justice.
