“Next to my wedding date, I have always considered this my second favorite day of the year,” said Elizabeth Wise, President, Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono at the LVHN Pocono Foundation's 27th Annual Grant & Scholarship Reception.. “The generosity of so many allows the LVHN–Pocono Foundation to provide scholarships for tomorrow’s health care professionals and much-needed resources to local organizations that improve the quality of life and health in our region. Every year the members of our selection committees continue to be inspired by what motivates our scholarship recipients to pursue careers in health care. Equally impressive is the amazing work our community grant recipients are doing with such limited funding. The LVHN-Pocono Foundation is pleased to announce this year’s award recipients who also share our mission to heal, comfort and care for our community.”
