The best leaders are not only outstanding at their job, they make everyone around them better. Pamela Riddell, Vice President of Communications for Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), is such a leader. She was named a 2025 Top Woman in PR by PRNEWS in the “Motivators” category, which recognizes women who take extraordinary measures to strengthen the teams with which they work and lead.
During her 28-year LVHN career, Riddell has shown how effective and powerful a people-first leader can be. With her team, she transformed LVHN’s web and social media presence, revolutionized internal communications to engage colleagues, established high standards for crisis communication and built LVHN’s first-ever recruitment marketing function. She is unwavering in her drive to bring people together to achieve excellence and credits her team for making these endeavors successful.
Riddell is passionate about supporting and mentoring other women. To accomplish this at LVHN, she helped launch the group Women in Leadership and Learning (WILL), which has encouraged women to reach new heights in their work and life. She firmly believes it is important for women to support one another and build each other up, and she models this each day in her relationships.
