Dr. Chan grew up in Tenafly, N.J., where he graduated from Tenafly High School and was a competitive athlete in track and cross country. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, followed by his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at Main Line Health’s Bryn Mawr Hospital, where he served as chief resident.

During residency, Dr. Chan developed a strong interest in sports medicine through diverse clinical experiences, including rotations in outpatient sports clinics, coverage of lacrosse games and training room exposure. He also cultivated a particular interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound.

He is excited to join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a primary care sports medicine fellow. Outside of medicine, Dr. Chan enjoys spending time with his wife and son, working out, playing board games and exploring new cuisines.
