Dave grew up in upstate New York where he attended SUNY University at Buffalo graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and Exercise Science. After college, Dave co-founded a medical fitness center providing chronic disease management and diabetes reversal for patients through lifestyle and behavioral medicine. In order to further peruse his passion of integration of exercise, nutrition, and behavioral health into medicine, Dave completed his medical degree at SUNY Stony Brook University School of Medicine. In medical school his educational focuses were on community care and use of technology and telehealth to provide care for underserved populations. His passions for community care and behavioral health led him to pursue a career in Family Medicine. Outside of the hospital, Dave enjoys cycling and mountain biking, paddle boarding, and dabbling with computers and technology.
