My name is David Pryluck, MD, MBA, and I am honored to serve as Program Director of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN)’s new Diagnostic Radiology Residency. I joined LVHN in April 2024 and it has been my great privilege to design, implement and now lead this truly special program.

A little bit about myself. I am originally from Long Island, New York. I studied biology at Duke University, then worked as a financial analyst in health care investment banking for several years in New York City before attending NYU Grossman School of Medicine for medical school. I completed my transitional year internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, diagnostic radiology residency at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. I truly love teaching residents and medical students and consider myself an academic radiologist focused on education and learning. I am grateful to have served in several educational leadership roles throughout my career, but being program director of a brand-new radiology residency hits different.

At the heart of this program – and at the heart of who I am – is a belief in the power of kindness, curiosity and connection. I strive to create an environment where every resident feels seen, supported and encouraged to ask questions without hesitation. I believe the best learning happens in spaces that are welcoming, inclusive and rooted in mutual respect. I am committed to individualized learning, recognizing that each resident brings unique strengths, goals and lived experiences to their training. Through strong mentorship, open dialogue and a shared commitment to growth, my hope is that each of our residents will not only develop into exceptional radiologists, but also into thoughtful, compassionate and confident physicians.
