Hi, my name is Gretchen Perilli. I am an Assistant Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program as well as Assistant Program Director for the Endocrinology fellowship. I was born and raised just north of the Lehigh Valley, and I may be biased, but I believe that this is the best place to live and raise a family. I went to Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pa. I attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College) in Philadelphia. I am incredibly proud to say I completed my residency training at Lehigh Valley Health Network before heading to Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick, N.J., for my endocrinology fellowship. I returned to Lehigh Valley Health Network with a sole purpose in mind: to teach others to do what I do. My career has been dedicated to the education of residents and fellows, and I have loved it.

I currently reside in the Lehigh Valley area with my handsome man, Frank, and my handsomer dog, Sonny. I enjoy taking advantage of all the outdoor activities including our Rails to Trails network, bird watching, kayaking and hiking (although Sonny would say throwing Frisbee is my best skill). I think I am a fabulous cook, which I often do with a glass of wine in my hand. I also love to spend time in Philadelphia cheering like a crazy person for our sports teams. I feel incredibly blessed to do what I love with a work family that I adore in the best area in the country.
