Jared was raised in Morganville, N.J. Following his undergraduate education at Stockton University, he began his first career in neurophysiology and pioneered the first in-house intraoperative monitoring group for Capital Health Hospital. It was here he discovered his passion for medicine and made the decision to apply for medical school. After eight years in the working world, Jared took a nontraditional path and obtained his master’s degree in biomedical science at Rutgers, then completed medical school at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. From there, he matched into emergency medicine at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pa., where he was elected the chief resident of education. Jared is thrilled to have matched here at Lehigh Valley Health Network to complete his sports medicine fellowship training. He and his wife Rebekah live in Quakertown, Pa., and have two children, Jackson and Gavin.
