Jody Shigo, MSN, RN, Administrator, Patient Care Services, oversees clinical operations for inpatient acute care, emergency, family birthing and surgical services, as well as respiratory therapy and education at Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Hazleton. 

Shigo has more than 20 years of nursing experience and began her career in the transitional trauma unit at LVH–Cedar Crest. She became director in 2012. Under her leadership, her team received a Friends of Nursing Award.

During her career, Shigo held several leadership roles, including associate vice president of nursing and vice president of patient care services.

Shigo earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from DeSales University and a master’s degree in nursing from Cedar Crest College. She also holds a nurse executive advanced board certification.
