Katrina Amber-Monta, MD
Cooper Medical School of Rowan University
I studied music at Bennington College and graduated in 2003. After journeying through various fields (including carpentry and nonprofit development), I discovered my passion for medicine. I graduated from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in 2025 and headed to the Lehigh Valley for a residency in general psychiatry. I transitioned to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship in 2025 and have not looked back! In addition to working with children and adolescents, I am passionate about advocacy. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, baking bread, exploring nature, and seeing a film or concert.
Why I chose Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN):
Because my experience with the LVHN Psychiatry Residency was positive, LVHN child and adolescent psychiatry was a natural choice for me. It is a positive and supportive learning environment. The department as a whole is healthy, and the services it provides to this community are robust. On top of all that, my family and I have grown to love the Lehigh Valley!
