Katrina Amber-Monta, MD
Cooper Medical School of Rowan University
I studied music at Bennington College (Vt.) in 2003, and in 2022, graduated from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (N.J.). In 2025, I graduated from LVHN's General Psychiatry Residency and transitioned to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship. In addition to working with children and adolescents, my current professional interests focus on the intersection between the humanities and psychiatry, psychotherapy and advocacy. When I’m not working, I enjoy being in nature, spending time with family and performing at local open mic nights.
"Why I chose LVHN" —Because my experience with the LVHN Psychiatry Residency was positive, the LVHN Child and Adolescent Psychiatry was a natural choice for me. Overall, it is a healthy and positive learning environment. The department as a whole is healthy, and the services it provides to this community are robust. On top of all that, my family and I have grown to love the Lehigh Valley!
