Lynn Wilson, DO
Program Director, Geriatrics Fellowship
Hi, I am Lynn M. Wilson, DO, FACOFP, FAAFP, AGSF, DipABLM, Program Director of the Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) Geriatrics Fellowship and a core faculty member in the Department of Family Medicine for the residency program. I am a primary care geriatrician at LVHN and an associate professor at the University of South Florida Health, Morsani College of Medicine and adjunct associate professor at Thomas Jefferson University Sydney Kimmel Medical College. With over 11 years of experience in clinical geriatric primary care, medical education, research and clinical quality improvement, I play a key role in advancing healthcare for older adults. I am the Section Chief of Geriatrics in the Department of Family Medicine at LVHN. As the former PI for the Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP), I led an interdisciplinary team to improve primary care outcomes for high-risk older adults at internal medicine and family medicine residency training sites.
I have collaborated with various network and community partners to develop community-based education on topics such as opiate use disorders in older adults, cognitive impairment and dementia and successful aging.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband, three children and cats.
