Robyn Panchaud, MD, is in her first year of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology with a minor in Portuguese from Stanford University. After graduating, she worked for several years in clinical research full time at University of Pennsylvania while completing a pre-health post-baccalaureate program. She subsequently graduated from the SELECT MD Program at University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine. She completed her residency training in psychiatry at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). Outside of medicine, her interests and hobbies include SCUBA diving, snorkeling, and kayaking as well as going for nature walks, spending time with family, and playing card games and word games.

Why I chose Lehigh Valley Health Network:

As a medical student I completed my clerkships and acting internships at LVHN. I found the clinical learning environment here to be outstanding as I was able to get exposure to patients from a variety of backgrounds who were seeking care for a wide range of health issues. Additionally, I felt that the interactions I had with Psychiatry Department faculty helped me to grow as a learner. Because of my positive experiences here as a medical student, LVHN was my first choice for residency because I felt confident that I would thrive here as a resident physician. While progressing through my residency training at LVHN, I continued strengthening my ties to the Lehigh Valley community. I was motivated to stay on with LVHN to continue my training as a child and adolescent psychiatry fellow for several reasons, one of which being I knew that upon completion of the fellowship program, I would be well prepared to serve youth, adults, and families from a variety of backgrounds in need of mental health treatment and support.
