Gliomas/ NCCTG 94-72-52: Diagnostic and Prognostic Markers in High-Grade Glioma (1_PRO00000138)

Description

This study involves donation of brain tumor tissue sample(s) from biopsies that have already been performed for clinical purposes during the treatment of the participant’s glioma. It is also looking at blood samples. Participants will be required to have blood drawn after they are registered on the study. The tumor and blood samples are evaluated for as many markers as possible, any changes in the markers, and frequency distributions of all tumor markers.

Eligibility

Inclusion Criteria

o Paraffin-embedded tumor tissue blocks or 15 unstained slides must be available
o Must have been enrolled in a Mayo/NCCTG clinical trial, conducted since 1979, which were designed to designed to assess specific therapies in patients with newly diagnosed high-grade glioma
