Job Description: The Systems Analyst/Programmer is responsible for the administration and support of automated systems including construction and testing of applications within designated departments and divisions. In this role, the incumbent will: assume responsibility for small or medium-sized projects and tasks as assigned by Information Services management; work with designated hospital department/division personnel during project implementation and assist with project management; recognize and make management aware of issues and potential problems, and assist in determining possible solutions; recognizes and participate in work processes improvements as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements: A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in information services or the completion of a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of progressive clinical or administrative experience in healthcare is required. General knowledge of mainframe, network and personal computer tools is required. Work requires the level of knowledge acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Management. Work requires the ability to: analyze and solve automation problems; analyze and interpret data; work well in a team environment; be self-motivated and self-disciplined; visit multiple business and education locations. In this role, you must have excellent communication skills in both oral and written format with the ability to accurately and concisely describe problems, solutions, specifications, and plans. 

Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of application specific function and work processes is desired. Knowledge of Epic and clinical information systems experience is preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
