About

Philosophy of care

I believe that people come to us for a reason and, no matter what that reason is, we have an obligation to listen and counsel patients, no matter what we are presented with. I was always taught to treat patients like they were a member of my family, and I try to encompass that every day.

Why I entered medicine

I have always been interested in the medical field. As a child I enjoyed televisions programs, such as "Emergency" and knew that I would eventually work in the medical field. I have been a paramedic in the Lehigh Valley community for more than 10 years and knew that I wanted to do something more clinically. The physician assistant profession offers a change to practice medicine while allowing the opportunity to experience various areas of medicine throughout my career.

Community involvement

As a student, I volunteered at the Allentown Rescue Mission Clinic, founded by the De Sales University Physician Assistant Program. As a physician assistant, I will continue to volunteer my time at the Rescue Mission Clinic. In addition, I still plan to volunteer my time to continue working in the local EMS community.

Personal interests

I like to spend time with family. We enjoy traveling and eating out.
