About
Philosophy of care
Nursing is the most trusted profession, and I am proud to incorporate my experience as a nurse into my career as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA). It is a privilege to provide anesthesia compassionately, with care and consideration for each patient’s needs. I consider it of upmost importance to establish good rapport with my patients and their families.
Why I entered medicine
While I was always fascinated with the health section of the newspaper, I realized I wanted to become a nurse while working as a lifeguard in high school. I was interested in rescue and first aid techniques, as well as the identification and treatment of life-threatening conditions. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2011 and completed my doctor of nursing practice degree in 2023 after working more than a decade as a psychiatric, emergency department and critical care nurse.
Community involvement
In recent years, I have been a medical volunteer with a large New York City running organization. I appreciate those who volunteer when I am participating in events, and I hope to continue to aid my fellow runners before, during and after their races when volunteering in the future.
Personal interests
With family and friends, I love to travel and explore new places. I enjoy dining out and experiencing different cuisines. I will watch any show on the channel Bravo and happily discuss it.
