About

Philosophy of care

I believe in the value of listening to patients and working with them to achieve positive health outcomes. You’re looking to me for my clinical expertise, but your experience and lifestyle play an equally important role in your health.

Why I entered medicine

I think the human body is incredible. I truly enjoy thinking about all the physiologic mechanisms that make us who we are. Medicine allows me to exploit that interest to achieve something positive for others. My perception of my profession is that of a vocation of healing rather than just an occupation.

Community involvement

I am a youth soccer coach with FC Pocono, a local club. It is a true joy to impact the lives of kids as they explore their interests in sport and learn aspects of teamwork, physical skills and gameplay. I am also a former member of Adventures for the Cure cycling team, which holds charity races and events throughout to raise money for diabetes research and awareness. I support other charities around the world.

Personal interests

My time off from work is generally spent with my wife and son. We enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking, telemark skiing, ski touring, paddle boarding and hiking together.
