About

Philosophy of care

I believe in navigating patients and families through their cancer care journey in a respectful, safe environment. I approach each patient as a whole, addressing each need while keeping in mind their goals of care. I strive to provide high-quality care while allowing patients to feel comfortable enough to tell me any concern. I treat my patients as if they were my own family and friends.

Why I entered medicine

I always felt guided by my faith to enter medicine. I felt called due to my passion for medicine and for people from all backgrounds. I am a very compassionate, empathetic individual who always wanted to give back to the community and serve others.

Community involvement

I attend local fundraisers to help raise money for cancer patients in need. Also, I hope to teach at a local physician assistant school and help interest more future medical professionals in hematology/oncology.

Personal interests

Working in cancer care has helped me better appreciate the small things in life. I love spending time with my friends and family. My favorite hobbies are powerlifting, hiking and traveling.
