About
Philosophy of care
I treat the whole patient, not just symptoms or lab results, and give you a voice in your own care. As your advocate, I make decisions with you, not for you. In doing so, I also look for root causes of disease. My job is to heal, not mask symptoms.
Why I entered medicine
I’ve always known service to others was a part of my calling. As a kid, I can remember my mom and I spending time together being pen pals and donors to families impacted by childhood disease. My heart was moved by seeing an increasingly sick population. My innocent childhood passion matured into action through my experience with research, shadowing and volunteer work, which led me to medicine.
Community involvement
I am a youth leader/teacher, mentoring children and helping them mature into faith.
Personal interests
The most important thing to me is my faith in God, the source of my passion in nurturing and growing my family. Lots of my time is spent being a devoted wife and pouring into our children. You can find our family at church, cooking from scratch, singing songs, outside playing with chickens, petting cows, milking goats, or riding horses.
