About
Philosophy of care
As a physician assistant, I'm centered on advocating for my patients and making sure they feel seen, informed, and comfortable. I believe every patient should understand their diagnosis and treatment options. Educated patients are better able to make informed decisions and take an active role in their health.
Why I entered medicine
I have always been fascinated by anatomy and how all the different body systems work together. Now I am able to combine my love for science and problem-solving with direct patient care. I find educating patients on their health and establishing care plans to be challenging, rewarding, and advantageous.
Community involvement
As a volunteer firefighter and first responder, I love giving back and helping those in need in my community. It requires dedication, teamwork, and a willingness to put others before yourself. Beyond responding to emergencies, it also allows me to be involved in community events and public safety education.
Personal interests
I love reading, hiking, hunting, and traveling. Most of all, I love spending time with my dogs: Roscoe and Goose!
