About
Philosophy of care
I have been taught that 80% of a diagnosis is made by taking a thorough history and physical. To me that means taking time to listen to your concerns, delving into your health issue and not resting until the "Why is this happening?" is solved – then developing a solution to ensure the problem does not happen again.
Why I entered medicine
Even as a child I used my Fisher-Price stethoscope to listen to family members' heartbeats. My curiosity about the world still drives me to learn more about health and science. I believe the greatest good an individual can achieve is devotion to the service of others. Through medical school I realized the beauty and impact of internal medicine, seeing and treating the patient as a whole and not just the manifestation of a singular problem.
Community involvement
New to the Lehigh Valley, I am enjoying the many amazing crafts and delicious foods available at local farmers’ markets.
Personal interests
I spend as much time outdoors as possible hiking, kayaking and biking. I also enjoy baking treats for loved ones.
