About

Philosophy of care

I provide the highest quality care in keeping with evidence-based practices. I ensure you are treated with respect, kindness and compassion on your journey toward optimal health. It's important that all my patients and families are kept well informed and armed with the resources necessary to play a pivotal role in the decision-making process.

Why I entered medicine

Growing up I saw how poor health literacy and inadequate access to health care can lead to detrimental outcomes. Through my training, I have acquired the knowledge and skills to provide quality clinical care. I do not see my patients as problems to solve, but as individuals and families deserving empathy and attention. A desire to impact lives lit a fire in me: not just to provide care, but to advocate, to listen and to serve communities too often overlooked. Medicine, to me, is the most meaningful and direct way to combine compassion with action.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, watching movies and baking.
