About
Philosophy of care
Suffering is natural in human experience. Most often we manage that suffering on our own or with the help of family, friends or outside sources. But sometimes, when those are not enough or the suffering is too strong, we need to turn to the experts. It is then some people will choose to see a clinical psychologist
Why I entered medicine
Listening and trying to understand how people acted and what motivated them always seemed natural. Becoming a clinical psychologist was the ideal way to work in a profession that allowed me to do what I feel most strongly about.
Community involvement
I've been president of the Lehigh Valley Psychological and Counseling Association four times and continue to support the organization. I serve on one or more committees for both the Pennsylvania and American Psychological Associations. I'm a volunteer with ArtsQuest and its main program, Musikfest.
Personal interests
I enjoy reading philosophy and classic literature, and listening to all types of music. Family activities of all kinds are my primary out of work pastime.
