About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy of care incorporates evidence-based research and knowledge with trust, effective communication and listening, and individualized treatment needs. I believe patient education is the basis for ensuring optimum health outcomes. I view our patient-provider relationship as a team to work together and achieve for you a successful plan of care.
Why I entered medicine
I entered medicine to help others and I loved providing direct patient care as a nurse. Now as a nurse practitioner, I can build on my nursing foundation and interact with patients at the bedside while also treating them from a provider standpoint.
Community involvement
I am active within my community and charities by donating to local organizations and being involved in local activities. I am a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses to stay up to date on best practices for patient care.
Personal interests
I love spending spare time with family and friends, trying new restaurants and going to the beach.
