About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy centers on treating each patient with dignity, compassion and honesty. I listen closely, involving you in decisions and explaining your care in a clear and reassuring way. Hospitalization can be stressful and overwhelming. My goal is to make sure you feel supported, informed and confident in your care.
Why I entered medicine
I wanted a career that combined purpose with making a tangible difference in people’s lives. From an early stage, I was drawn to the responsibility and trust that comes with caring for others. Hospital medicine allows me to help patients at critical points in their health and guide them through recovery.
Community involvement
I have been involved in volunteer and outreach efforts focused on health education and patient support. Medicine extends beyond the hospital walls, and meaningful impact comes from engaging with the community, promoting wellness and improving access to care for those needing it most.
Personal interests
I enjoy time with my family and playing sports such as basketball, football, pickleball and cricket. I’ve also done a Relay Ironman, Tough Mudder and local running races, which have taught me the value of resilience and teamwork. These same qualities shape my life at home and in medicine. Whether we’re outdoors, watching sports together or simply enjoying time as a family, staying active and connected is an important part of my life.
