About

Philosophy of care

I want to develop a long-term relationship with patients, enabling them to navigate the often confusing medical system as it pertains to the care of chronic kidney disease, dialysis, transplantation, hypertension and electrolyte management.

Why I entered medicine

I enjoy scientific inquiry, but I wanted to apply scientific knowledge to help people improve their lives.

Community involvement

I participate in many community service initiatives of the local National Kidney Foundation chapter, including giving lectures, counseling at chronic kidney disease screening events and being a patient advocate. I am also active in my church, providing food to a local pantry and getting involved in many community service projects.

Personal interests

My interests are faith, family, friends and fitness, especially road cycling. I also enjoy playing the trumpet.
