About

Philosophy of care

Good medical care addresses both the physical and the emotional aspects of illness. Through medical knowledge and presence, support and communication, I guide patients and families toward their health care goals. Together we can provide comprehensive medical healing at all levels of health and illness.

Why I entered medicine

A desire to make a difference in this world motivated me toward medicine. Sharing my knowledge and abilities to improve the quality of people's lives is very important to me. As a biology major in college, medicine appeared to be a very attractive means of achieving that goal.

Community involvement

I enjoy the time I spend with my religious community's services and activities.

Personal interests

I like spending time with my wife, cats and family. I enjoy cooking, music, watching TV and movies and Yankees baseball. I also like to experience new foods and travel when I have the chance.
