Philosophy of care

My daily goals are to embrace the value and diversity of the health care team, to deliver quality medical care with integrity and compassion, and to maintain the highest standards of wellness and respect for patients of all ages.

Why I entered medicine

I was drawn to science classes in elementary school. Later, my mother’s stories about her job as a pharmacist sparked an interest in medicine. During high school I attended a summer medical conference at U.C. Berkeley, exposing me to various medical specialties. The experiences led to a career providing me a very active and direct role in bedside health care delivery.

Personal interests

In my spare time, I enjoy taking photographs, listening to music, attending concerts, traveling, reading, working out, hiking, and spending time with my family, friends and animals.
