About

Philosophy of care

It’s my goal to provide each child and their family with the quality care that I would expect for my own children. I want every family to trust that I will use my experience and skills to provide the very best care for their child. As a mother of two, I know how much love a parent feels for their children and how parents will do anything in their power to keep their children healthy and safe. I want to help the parents of the children in my care accomplish that goal.

Why I entered medicine

My interest in science and medicine began as a young child. When I was older, I worked as an athletic trainer at sports camps. As a result, I realized how much I liked working with children, which guided my career towards pediatrics. I’ve also always wanted to have a job that makes a difference in people’s lives, practicing medicine allows me to do that.

Community involvement

I’m a physician advisor for the Lehigh Valley Food Allergy support group. I’m a volunteer speaker at local elementary schools for their annual career days. One of those schools, St. Thomas More in Allentown, has a program for seventh graders that gives them the opportunity to explore the health care field. I volunteer with that program by talking to students about careers in pediatrics. I also volunteered at LVHN’s COVID-19 vaccine clinics.

Personal interests

I love spending time with my husband and two boys. I especially enjoy our family vacations and exploring new places with them. I enjoy sports and supporting the youth teams my boys play on. I have fond memories of watching baseball with my grandfather who was from the Bronx, so I’m a New York Yankees fan.  I’m also a fan of the Philadelphia 76ers.
