About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy is to treat each pregnant patient as I would want someone to treat my family member or friend. I believe in a collaborative model of patient care with including appropriate specialists, support staff, and the patient's own personal support system to establish the best plan of care.
Why I entered medicine
I was introduced to medicine through the illness of a family member as a child. As I learned more about their disease and interacted with more of their healthcare team, I found my own motivation to have a future in helping patients and their families in some of their most vulnerable moments. I chose OBGYN as a field that allowed me to participate in the care of patients throughout multiple stages of their lives. Maternal Fetal Medicine allows me to coordinate complex medical care for both the pregnant patient and the future of their family.
