Philosophy of care

Each patient’s story is unique, so I listen closely to your goals, concerns and values. I provide holistic care not only for the physical aspects of your medical condition, but also your emotional, psychological and spiritual needs. Empowering patients and their families with knowledge, compassion and support is my goal.

Why I entered medicine

I have always had a desire to care for others and a fascination with how the human body works. Over time, I realized health care is not just about treating illness, it is also about building trust, offering guidance and being present for people in times of need. A close family member’s battle with cancer inspired my deep commitment to oncology. I value the opportunity to help you feel informed, empowered and never alone.

Community involvement

I have visited underserved communities in the Dominican Republic to provide hands-on care, health education and support to adults and children. It was a transformative experience that reinforced why I chose a career in health care. It gave me a deeper understanding of the challenges many face in accessing even the most basic medical services, and it strengthened my dedication to compassionate, equitable care.

Personal interests

I value time with family and my friends. I love traveling and experiencing new cultures, but I also enjoy staying at home and watching a good movie or series.
