About

Philosophy of care

My practice is built on compassion, clinical excellence, evidence-based decisions and an interdisciplinary approach. I treat each patient holistically, considering not only your physiological status but also your values, goals and family dynamics. I use clear, empathetic communication with you and your family, empowering participation in decision-making during times of profound vulnerability. I am committed to lifelong learning, technical proficiency and staying current with advances in critical care and cardiothoracic surgery. I value interdisciplinary teamwork and foster respect among colleagues because the best patient outcomes emerge when diverse expertise is united. Above all, I view my role as a privilege: to be present at life's most fragile moments and to uphold trust, humanity and hope in every patient encounter.

Why I entered medicine

I was drawn to the intersection of science, humanity and purpose. From an early age, I was fascinated by the complexity of the human body and inspired by the impact skilled, compassionate care has on life’s most vulnerable moments. My interest evolved into a calling to understand diseases and be part of the healing process. It’s a privilege to connect with you, advocate for your needs and apply my knowledge and critical thinking to improve your outcome. In medicine, I found a field where I could be both intellectually challenged and emotionally fulfilled – where precision matters, but so does empathy.

Community involvement

I participate in medical/spiritual mission work serving underserved communities, currently in Kenya. Through these missions, I have had the privilege of providing critical care, surgical support and health education. This has deepened my perspective on global health disparities and reinforced the importance of compassion, adaptability and cultural humility in clinical practice.

Personal interests

I value balance, wellness and continuous personal growth. I stay active through running and kickboxing, which helps me maintain physical and mental resilience. I am passionate about traveling and cultural exploration, which broadens my worldview.
