Philosophy of care

Every patient encounter is an opportunity to establish trust, build rapport and meet needs. Communication and trust are essential, especially when caring for pediatric patients. I hope every family I meet feels comfort and confidence throughout their visit. I want to collaborate with families and provide the highest quality care to their loved ones, all while instilling confidence in their ability to take an active role in their own health.

Why I entered medicine

I knew at a very young age health care was my calling. I love supporting others during their challenging times and celebrating their success in joyous moments. The pediatric population has always held a special place in my heart, as I was once a sick child being cared for by an amazing nursing staff. It is a joy to see the growth and resilience in this special patient population. Children are eager to learn (so resilient!), and witnessing their growth and development firsthand is a blessing. I knew my nursing career would cement my love for pediatrics, so I became a pediatric nurse practitioner.

Personal interests

I love time with my family, my husband and two young children. We enjoy being active, taking our dogs to the park or exploring the Lehigh Valley on bikes. Both our children are involved in sports, and most weekends you can find us on a ballfield or dance competition. In my free time, I relax on the back porch with a book or ride my Peloton.
