About

Philosophy of care

Surgery can be frightening. To ease that, I develop a personal relationship with patients to demonstrate I will take care of them safely and securely during any type of procedure. I spend time researching stress reduction techniques with music and incorporate that into my care when possible.

Why I entered medicine

I became a registered nurse in 2010, and spent time in various settings – long-term care, dementia care, progressive care and emergency/trauma care. Nurse anesthesia allows me to interact with patients in a more comprehensive manner while also assuring patient advocacy.

Community involvement

I hope to grow my involvement in land sustainability and preservation of open spaces.

Personal interests

In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, traveling and interacting with nature.
