About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy as a radiologist is that every image represents a person, not just a study. While I may not always stand at the bedside, my interpretation directly shapes clinical decisions, outcomes and peace of mind. I approach each case with precision, urgency and accountability – knowing that clarity in my report can reduce uncertainty, guide treatment and sometimes change the course of a life. I strive to be a reliable clinical partner to referring physicians and a quiet advocate for every patient behind the image.
Why I entered medicine
I entered medicine because I wanted my career to mean something on the worst days of someone else’s life. When people are scared, in pain or uncertain, that’s when they need someone steady. I wanted to be that person.
Community involvement
My involvement is centered on radiology-driven outreach and education. I have participated in imaging-based screening initiatives, including breast cancer awareness and early detection programs, helping improve access to mammography and preventive imaging services for underserved populations.
Personal interests
I am an avid angler, often fishing offshore along the coasts of Florida or Puerto Rico.
