About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is to treat every patient as if they are family or friend.

Why I entered medicine

From age 12 or 13 and into high school, I knew I wanted to practice medicine. I became interested in the care of patients with HIV infection, and after finishing medical school, decided to train in infectious diseases.

Community involvement

I have participated in medical missions to Bolivia, Ukraine and the Dominican Republic.

Personal interests

I enjoy running and reading history books. I particularly enjoy learning about American history.
