About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is providing prompt care to all comers. I’m ready each day to take on whatever the community needs are.

Why I entered medicine

I worked in the emergency department as a college student and was taken aback by the care being provided in such a calm and compassionate manner despite the chaotic atmosphere. I decided emergency medicine was a great way for me to apply my knowledge/empathy by striving to help people on what is sometimes their hardest day.

Community involvement

I do volunteer work at local events to help provide safe care in a prehospital setting. I also mentor premedical students.

Personal interests

Skiing, keeping up my garden, cooking and traveling are my free-time favorites.
