About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that every patient deserves compassion, empathy, and respect. I treat each patient as I would if they were a family member, and am committed to a patient-centered approach that views each individual not just as a diagnosis, but as a whole person with unique needs, values, and life circumstances. I aim to deliver the highest quality of care by using evidence-based practices and taking the time to listen to my patients' needs and goals.

Why I entered medicine

From a young age, my own experiences as a pediatric patient exposed me to the incredible impact of compassionate medical care. These experiences left me with a profound sense of gratitude for the nurses, doctors, and technicians who supported me. Their dedication inspired me to give back, leading me to volunteer at my local hospital throughout high school. Those years of volunteering solidified my calling. I knew I wanted to be that comforting presence for others during their most vulnerable moments - just as my healthcare team had been for me. The opportunity to pursue a career in nursing, and now to care for patients at LVHN, is a great honor.

Community involvement

As a recent transplant to the Lehigh Valley, I am excited to explore the area and get involved in all the region has to offer, including volunteer opportunities in my community. I am also a member of the Lehigh Valley chapter of the Villanova University Alumni Association.

Personal interests

Outside of work, I enjoy being active outdoors and spending time with my family and our dog.
