About

Philosophy of care

As a midwife, I believe pregnancy and birth should be honored, respected and supported. My philosophy is grounded in the belief that you have the right to make informed decisions about your care. It is my role to support, educate and empower pregnant people, fostering an environment where they feel safe, respected and confident in their choices.

Why I entered medicine

My decision to pursue midwifery was inspired by my career as a labor and delivery nurse. I had the experience of working alongside several inspirational midwives and aspired to join them, bringing more midwifery care to rural communities.

Personal interests

When not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and dogs.
