About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy as a new nurse practitioner is built upon 20+ years of nursing experience and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based care. Effective healthcare extends beyond treating illness; it involves understanding each patient's experiences, values, and goals. Establishing trust through active listening, empathy, and open communication is essential. I bring you clinical judgment, compassion, and resilience developed over two decades of nursing practice while embracing lifelong learning and professional growth. I am committed to integrating current evidence, maintaining the highest ethical standards, and providing equitable, high-quality care that respects your dignity and individuality. My goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.

Why I entered medicine

Becoming a nurse practitioner represents a natural progression of my commitment to service. It allows me to continue doing what first drew me to healthcare – being there for people during important moments in their lives while expanding my capacity to improve patient outcomes.

Personal interests

I enjoy time with my family, relaxing at the beach, being outdoors, shopping, and pursuing my passion for nursing and patient care. These activities help me stay balanced, connected, and energized.
