About

Philosophy of care

I believe every individual deserves compassionate, equitable and high-quality care – regardless of background, identity or circumstance. My practice is grounded in justice, accessibility and respect for the inherent dignity of every person. I am passionate about comprehensive care across all stages of life (from children to older adults) and I am especially dedicated to serving women, reproductive health needs and the LGBTQIA+ community. My goal is to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where patients feel seen, heard and supported. I am committed to improving health outcomes and access for underserved populations, ensuring care is not only available, but also responsive to the diverse needs of our community.

Why I entered medicine

Growing up under challenging socioeconomic conditions, I witnessed firsthand how limited access to health care can affect individuals, families and communities. As a teenager volunteering at a nursing home, I discovered the impact compassionate care and human connection can have, solidifying my desire to become a physician. Family medicine allows me to serve people from all walks of life and build lasting relationships that foster trust and healing. My journey has been guided by a commitment to caring for underserved and unseen populations – those who too often face barriers to care. For me, medicine is both a calling and a means of service: a way to give back, promote equity and help every patient live with dignity and health.

Community involvement

I am a Mountain Top Rotary Club member and support charities for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Compassion International.

Personal interests

I enjoy the performing arts, reading, writing, scrapbooking and traveling.
