Admissions Process

Applications for August 2027 enrollment are due March 1, 2027, or when qualified student capacity has been reached.

Here's what you need to apply:

Note: There is a $50 application payment via credit card. Application fee will be waived if you are an employee of Lehigh Valley Health Network or an immediate family member of an employee (mother, father, son, daughter, spouse), or if you are entitled to a hardship waiver according to the SAT Program Fee Waiver Service. If you are claiming an employee fee waiver or a hardship waiver, please call Michelle Siminitus, Admissions Coordinator, at 570-621-5027.

1. Have your high school send an official high school transcript to us. (A high school transcript is an essential part of your application file even if you didn't graduate and later received a General Educational Development [GED] diploma.) Applicants who attended their secondary education in a country other than the U.S. must submit transcripts that have been translated by a credential evaluation service such as WES (World Education Service). If needed, contact www.wes.org.
2. If you received a GED, please send us a copy of your certificate along with your GED scores.
3. An official transcript must be submitted from each post-secondary school that you have attended (colleges, universities, nursing schools, trade schools, etc.).
4. Non-U.S. citizens must show original permanent resident card I-551 for photocopying. Applicants with a current I-551 card must be verified through the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) system.
5. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) may be required for applicants whose first language is not English. For information on taking the TOEFL, contact www.toefl.org.
6. A PA and/or FBI Criminal Record Check is required of applicants who check "Yes" on the crime conviction question on the application.

Any applicant with a documented disability may request accommodation by notifying the Director of Nursing or designee in writing at the time of application or at any time thereafter.

Technology Requirements

Students need regular access to the following throughout the program:

• A desktop or laptop computer
• Reliable internet access (Wi-Fi)
• Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Students use this technology to access Populi, ATI, school email, and course materials, and to complete assignments. Computers are also available in the computer labs on campus at both sites.

Technology Support

Information technology support is available to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through the LVHN IT Support Desk at 610-402-8303. Students can get help with computer, network, and access issues whether they are at school or working from home.
